Baltimore, MD — Baltimore Police have arrested 19-year-old Tyrell Tucker of Harford County in connection with a deadly shooting that claimed the life of 32-year-old Broderick Morris, a Shreveport, Louisiana resident, earlier this month.
Investigators say the shooting occurred on November 2, 2025, at approximately 1:35 a.m., when Central District patrol officers responded to the 300 block of West Lexington Street for reports of gunfire. Officers located Morris with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
On December 4, 2025, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Tucker at his Harford County home without incident. He was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with first-degree murder.
According to police, Morris had been in Baltimore temporarily but was originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, where his family has been notified of his death.
Detectives have not released information regarding a possible motive, and the investigation remains ongoing.
