MARION, Ohio — A tragic late-night collision on West Columbia Street has claimed the life of Colleen Foster, 40, of Marion, leaving the local community in shock and prompting an ongoing investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred on November 27, 2025, at approximately 9:42 p.m., when a 2012 Jaguar XJ, driven by 23-year-old Kaleb Leeth of Perrysburg, Ohio, struck a parked, unoccupied 2005 Honda Odyssey on the north side of the roadway. Preliminary reports indicate that the vehicle was traveling westbound at the time of impact.

Emergency Response and Hospitalization

Both occupants of the Jaguar were not wearing seatbelts, and impairment is suspected to be a contributing factor. Leeth sustained minor injuries and was transported by Marion City EMS to Marion General Hospital for treatment.

Foster, who suffered serious injuries, was initially treated at Marion General Hospital before being transferred by ground to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries, according to authorities.

Investigators indicated that the Jaguar struck the parked Honda Odyssey with significant force. While the vehicle was unoccupied, the collision caused substantial damage.
