GRAVETTE, Ark. — The Gravette community is mourning the loss of Fire Chief David Orr, a devoted public servant, mentor, and friend who passed away early this morning following a long and courageous battle with Stage 4 cancer. Chief Orr passed peacefully at approximately 5:50 a.m., ending years of treatment and determined perseverance.

Chief Orr was widely respected not only for his leadership within the Gravette Fire Department, but for the compassion and dedication he showed to every person who served alongside him.
