MARION, Ohio — It is with deep sorrow that we report the passing of Colleen Foster, 40, of Marion, Ohio, following a tragic late-night crash on West Columbia Street on November 27, 2025.
Colleen was riding as a passenger in a 2012 Jaguar XJ, driven by 23-year-old Kaleb Leeth of Perrysburg, Ohio. The vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied 2005 Honda Odyssey on the north side of the roadway at approximately 9:42 p.m. Despite the immediate efforts of emergency responders, Colleen sustained serious injuries and, after being transferred to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, she succumbed to her injuries.

Colleen Foster was a cherished member of her community, known for her kindness, warmth, and generosity. Friends and family remember her as a caring soul who brought joy to everyone around her. Her loss has left a profound void in the lives of those who knew her.
Emergency Response
Marion City EMS and local first responders acted swiftly to the scene. Kaleb Leeth, who was driving, sustained minor injuries and was treated at Marion General Hospital. Authorities have noted that impairment is suspected to be a factor in the crash, and neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol, with assistance from the Marion City Police Department, Marion City Fire and EMS, and Ron’s Towing, conducted a thorough investigation of the scene to understand the circumstances surrounding the tragic accident.
