Lawrenceburg, Tennessee — The Lawrenceburg community is deeply saddened by the passing of Doyle Moore, who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg. Born on July 25, 1953, Doyle lived a life defined by dedication, love, and a strong commitment to his family and community.
A Life Full of Passion and Dedication
Doyle Moore was a man who cherished the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, and horseback riding. These activities reflected his deep connection to nature, balanced by a steadfast devotion to his loved ones.
Professionally, Doyle spent 30 years with the Lawrenceburg Power System as a lineman, earning respect for his hard work, integrity, and commitment. His dedication to his role and the people he served reflected the values he carried throughout his life.
A Family-Centered Legacy
Doyle’s legacy is deeply rooted in his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Doyce and Mildred Earlene Dowdy Moore, his son Dawson Moore, and his brother Jerry Wayne Moore.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Moore of Ethridge, TN; daughters Beverly Sisk (Jason) of New Prospect, TN, and Tracy Robbins (Michael) of West Point, TN; grandchildren Kody Sisk (Rachel) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Madison Clark (Parker) of Huntsville, AL; and great-grandchild Pace Sisk.
Doyle’s siblings—Charlie Moore of Loretto, TN; Tharon Moore of Texas; Scotty Moore of Five Points, TN; and Samantha Childress of Rogersville, AL—also remember him as a source of strength and love. Together, they reflect the spirit of a man whose warmth and generosity touched everyone around him.
Honoring His Life
Friends, family, and the community remember Doyle for his kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering support of those he loved. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created and the values he embodied will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Funeral Arrangements
Funeral services are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by funeral services at 1:00 PM, officiated by Steve Inman. Interment will take place at Dunn Cemetery in Leoma, TN.
Doyle Moore’s life is a testament to love, dedication, and community. His legacy will remain alive in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his life.
