DUNLAP, Tenn. — The Dunlap community is mourning the passing of Garen Andrew Hobbs, age 26, who passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, in Memphis, Tennessee, where he was living and working. His sudden passing has left family, friends, and colleagues heartbroken as they remember a young man known for his strong work ethic, generous heart, and love for the open road.

Garen was employed as a Class II Welder at Steel Pro Manufacturing, a career he took great pride in. Those close to him said welding was more than a job for Garen—it was a craft he truly loved. He was dedicated to honing his skills and building a future through hard work, earning the respect of coworkers for his reliability, precision, and commitment.

Outside of work, Garen found joy and freedom as an avid motorcycle rider. Friends say he cherished the sense of independence and peace that riding brought him, often using time on his motorcycle as a way to clear his mind and connect with the world around him.

Garen was also a proud member of Whitten Baptist Church in Memphis, where he was actively involved and found strength in his faith. His church family remembers him as kind, respectful, and always willing to lend a helping hand.
