LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — A heartbreaking scene unfolded early Friday morning after a vehicle struck multiple pedestrians at the intersection of Douglas Lane and Harold Avenue S, leaving one person dead and three others seriously injured. Two of the injured remain in critical condition, according to emergency officials.
