According to the Boston Police Department, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan\/Dorchester) responded to a report of a person suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of 15 York Street in Dorchester at approximately 11:53 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Breidy Martinez critically injured. Despite the rapid response of Boston EMS, he was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n
