MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA \u2014 With profound sadness, family, friends, and all those who knew him are mourning the loss of Drew Vonfisher, 18, of Eden Prairie, who passed away following a tragic crash on Interstate 94 in Minneapolis on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

Drew\u2019s life was cut far too short, leaving behind loved ones who are now facing the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye to someone who should have had many more years ahead of him. At just 18 years old, Drew was at the beginning of his journey, with so much life still waiting to unfold. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Ford Focus was traveling southbound on Interstate 94 when it struck the divider separating I-94 from the exit lanes leading toward Lyndale Avenue. Following the initial collision, Drew exited the vehicle. A short time later, he was struck by a Tesla traveling through the area.<\/p>\n
