The Brick Township community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Joshua Guarino, an 18-year-old Brick Memorial High School student whose life was tragically cut short in a single-vehicle crash in Wall Township on Thursday morning, August 13, 2026.<\/p>\n

Joshua was just 18 years old \u2014 a young man with his whole future ahead of him, surrounded by family, friends, classmates, and people who cared deeply about him. His sudden passing has left a community grieving the loss of a life that was only beginning to unfold.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at approximately 5:36 a.m. along Squankum Allenwood Road in Wall Township. According to the Wall Township Police Department, emergency personnel were called after a vehicle reportedly left the roadway.<\/p>\n

When first responders arrived, they discovered a gray 2006 Honda Civic in a wooded area off the westbound lane. The vehicle had sustained extensive damage.<\/p>\n

Joshua was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle. Despite the response of emergency personnel, he suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n
