According to the New York State Police, the fatal crash occurred at approximately 1:26 a.m. on Rochester’s Inner Loop. Investigators reported that a 39-year-old woman driving a Honda CR-V was allegedly traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes when her vehicle collided head-on with a Ford Fusion. The violent impact claimed the lives of the Ford Fusion’s driver and passenger, both just 21 years old. They were later identified as Charles Barnes and Quantavious Lee.<\/p>\n

Following the initial collision, the Ford Fusion struck a Jeep Liberty driven by a 29-year-old man, who was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with injuries that were reported to be non-life-threatening.
