According to officials, emergency responders were dispatched to the 800 block of Lee Road 197 after a 911 call was received at approximately 1:21 a.m. When deputies, firefighters, and EMS personnel arrived, they found Anthony suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to Piedmont Midtown, where, despite medical efforts, he passed away later that morning at 11:33 a.m.<\/p>\n

The Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences will conduct a postmortem examination, while the Lee County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.<\/p>\n
