What they discovered was a devastating tragedy that would send shockwaves throughout Walton County and beyond. Amanda Mincey McBrayer was found deceased at the scene, while Jennifer Lynn Mincey was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she courageously fought for her life before ultimately succumbing to her injuries.
Officials said resident Ralph Edward Mincey was taken into custody immediately at the scene. He has since been charged with murder and multiple additional offenses connected to the incident. As investigators continue their work, loved ones are left mourning an unimaginable loss and searching for comfort during an incredibly painful time.
