According to authorities, the collision occurred at approximately 7:08 a.m. when a GMC Sierra 1500 and a southbound semi-truck collided. Despite the rapid response of the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, Wellton Police Department, Wellton Fire, Tri-Valley, Rural Metro, and emergency medical personnel, Jasen was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. His passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, neighbors, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
