Following their investigation, Omaha Police stated that the incident is believed to have been a murder-suicide. Authorities reported that Lucas Nunez, who had been dating Victoria for approximately one year and lived with her in the home, fatally shot Victoria before taking his own life. The investigation remains under the direction of the Omaha Police Department.
