Investigators reported that a westbound pickup truck collided with another truck that was slowing to make a turn. The impact resulted in fatal injuries to Quinton Kuykendall, who was identified by family and loved ones as the driver of the pickup truck.

Despite the prompt response of emergency personnel and every effort made at the scene, Quinton sadly could not be saved. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. Multiple first responders, including the Florida Highway Patrol and the Levy County Sheriff’s Office, worked diligently at the scene as the roadway remained closed for several hours while investigators documented the crash and cleared the area.
