In the early hours of Monday morning, tragedy struck outside the CTA’s 98th Street Rail Maintenance Facility on Chicago’s South Side. At approximately 4:15 a.m., Kevin had arrived for work and was retrieving something from his vehicle when he was suddenly shot. He suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Christ Hospital in critical condition. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Kevin sadly succumbed to his injuries.
The devastating news has shaken not only his family but also his coworkers, friends, and the entire community. Those who knew Kevin describe him as a devoted friend who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. He was the kind of person who genuinely cared about others, always offering encouragement, guidance, and support whenever someone needed it.
