In Loving Memory of Robert M. Noble
It is with profound sadness and heartfelt sympathy that we remember the life of Robert M. Noble, whose tragic passing has left his family, friends, and the Trenton, Michigan, community mourning an irreplaceable loss. His life was cut short following a fatal motorcycle crash in Frenchtown Township on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
According to Monroe County Sheriff Troy Goodnough, the collision occurred at approximately 11:08 a.m. at the intersection of North Telegraph Road and Newport Road. Preliminary investigators reported that Robert was operating a tan 2012 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when a collision occurred with a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica traveling eastbound on Newport Road. The impact caused Robert to be thrown from his motorcycle, and despite the efforts of first responders, he was tragically pronounced deceased from the injuries he sustained.
Authorities reported that Robert, a 66-year-old resident of Trenton, Michigan, was turning southbound onto North Telegraph Road from westbound Newport Road when the crash occurred. The driver of the Chrysler, 34-year-old Carleana L. Plyler of Newport, Michigan, and her juvenile passenger were wearing seat belts, and the vehicle’s airbags deployed. They were released from the scene and later sought medical evaluation as a precaution.
Investigators also stated that alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the collision. The crash remains under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Services Division, with assistance from numerous emergency response agencies that worked diligently at the scene.
Today, however, the focus is not only on the circumstances of the accident but on remembering the man whose life has been lost.
