Officers immediately began providing medical assistance, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Waco Police Department identified 43-year-old Michael Calhoun as the person arrested in connection with the investigation. Police said he was not at the scene when officers arrived but was located shortly afterward in the 2600 block of Alexander and taken into custody.
