It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we remember Mason Havard, whose life was tragically cut short following a single-vehicle crash in Scott County, Mississippi, on Thursday morning.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 9:37 a.m. on Highway 481. Authorities reported that Mason, 18, of Pulaski, Mississippi, was traveling south in a 2002 Ford Taurus when the vehicle left the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree. Mason was the only person in the vehicle and was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. At this time, officials have not released any additional information as the investigation remains active.
